Jason Peterson | Tech & Sound

Mardy is a wife and mom to three children and to eight grandchildren. She heard and received the Gospel at age 30 and has served in her local church in many capacities. Mardy has a heart for prayer and a longing for the youth on Cape Cod to hear and receive the Gospel message, to grow in their faith, and to follow Jesus.

Jason is a husband, dad, and follower of Jesus who has a heart for serving behind the scenes. He brings his passion for technology and sound to support the mission of AWAKEN, helping to create spaces where young people can encounter the love, hope, and truth of Jesus. Jason is grateful to use his skills to serve God, the team, and the youth of Cape Cod.

Janet Ryder | Treasurer

David is a Cape Cod based professional photographer/videographer who likes to use his artistic gifts to help advance God’s kingdom and bring others closer to Jesus. David is an active member of his church and has had a personal relationship with Jesus as long as he can remember.

Janet is a wife, mother, Gigi, accountant, and follower of Christ. With experience as a volunteer youth group leader, she is enthusiastic about being part of Awaken and supporting God’s work among the youth of Cape Cod.

Deena is a Jesus-following, joy-filled youth leader who loves gathering people and watching God move. She’s been walking with Christ for over 20 years and currently serves as a high school youth leader, therapist, certified coach, and active member of her community.

Kim is a wife, mother, nurse, and Jesus lover. As president and founder of AWAKEN Cape Cod, Inc. her passion is to help introduce the youth of Cape Cod to the love, forgiveness, and hope that faith in Jesus Christ brings.

Michelle and her husband Jeff are the parents of five children, three of whom were adopted through foster care. She is committed to living out her faith and meeting people where they are at as she shares the life giving love, hope, and forgiveness that only Jesus can offer.

Edna is a local high school student who loves music and the arts. She has a heart for deepening her relationship with the Lord and is excited to assist the team with social media and event marketing.

Suzanne is a devoted wife and mother of two sons – one who lives at home and one who lives with Jesus. She is the Co-Founder along with her husband, of The Luke Vincent Powers Foundation, known for Luke’s Love Boundless Playground. She is also the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of Trinity Christian Academy of Cape Cod. She embraces every aspect of her life with a strong Christian faith and optimistic perspective.

Carole is a wife, mom, and retired high school Spanish teacher who is joyfully deepening her walk with Christ. After returning to Cape Cod, she found a natural home working with teens through her church youth group and AWAKEN. Carol is passionate about walking alongside young people as they discover the love, hope, and joy found in Jesus.
